**The role**:
Kin + Carta is hiring a **Business Analyst** to join our global Salesforce platform team and use the platform to help drive our internal digital transformation. **Role responsibilities**:

- **Communication** - When you think about communication, you think about speaking and presenting, but listening is just as important. As a BA you will create an environment for open conversations, and clearly communicate information back out to the appropriate teams.
- **Elicitation** - As a BA you will are well versed in data gathering using different tactics surveys, workshops, and/or user interviews. You have an analytical mind and know how to ask the right questions at the right time. You perform these activities with the purpose of understanding project goals and getting clarification on what stakeholders want to accomplish. They interview stakeholders, research information or processes related to the project, and observe teams as they work. This sets a foundation for the project.
- **Documenting requirements** - You must have a strong ability to document requirements with the ability to record what was learned. This should be clear and concise, so the information can be easily understood by stakeholders and anyone else involved. You must be thoughtful about how you choose to document requirements so they can easily share between teams.
- **Analyzing Information** - You must have the ability to review requirements with the ability to make them actionable and have a strong relentless desire to make the team successful in delivering their objective. You are able to dive into more detail, and use data insights to identify what the business needs to do to achieve the desired outcome.
- **Facilitating solutions**:

- Based on analysis, you must know how to then identify and communicate options for solving business challenges. You then help choose the best option and help the team along with stakeholders move forward with the best solution.
- **Implementing solutions**:

- Once you have come up with a great business solution, you are expected to be able to make sure it’s running smoothly and as expected. Are stakeholders seeing benefits? Is anything else needed to support the implementation? Essentially, the BA is a project manager at this point. It’s their job to make sure they reach the end goal, that it’s working well, and stakeholders are happy. The BA keeps the end solution in mind, and makes adjustments if anything goes off course.
- **Testin**g - You must be able to build training material to support the implemented solution, and know how to record feedback to start eliciting requirements for the next iteration of the project, if needed.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- 2+ years of experience delivering complex products
- 2+ years of experience improving business operations experiences related to sales, finance, accounting or delivery operations
- 1+ years of experience in successful enterprise-wide deployments of large scale systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- 1+ years of experience directing the investment of an enterprise-wide platform or product from concept through to production

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Outstanding written and verbal English skills
- A desire to work collaboratively as part of a high-powered team
- Empathy for end users and stakeholders, and a desire to provide excellent service
- Enthusiasm for Digital Transformation, and helping users unlock the power of data and automation
- Experience making and using reports to drive business outcomes
- Understanding of Data Governance
- Experience in business operations such as talent management and forecasting, project management, utilization management, revenue management and forecasting, accounting
- Experience in consulting
