Location : Bogota _ Colombia

**The Commercial Supply Chain Director : Central and South America (CASA) for the LAQUA Region. This position will report to the Senior Director of Supply Chain for the Region.**

The Commercial Supply Chain Director - CASA is a partner in the supply chain organization, responsible for partnering with key stakeholders to ensure accuracy of demand planning, replenishment and inventory management for the Commercial team(s) in the area.

The Commercial Supply Chain Director - CASA will be in charge of the following country clusters: Colombia, Chile and export markets in Southern Cone, CAMCAR and ANDEAN areas.

This role is also responsible for ensuring that business processes in the region are executed properly and in compliance with the required standards and regulations (eg GxP, SoX etc). Success factors for this position are business acumen, operational understanding of the business processes and manufacturing environment, strong communication skills including the ability to influence, and ability to grow talent.

**Key Objectives/** **Responsibilities**:

- Accountable for execution of applicable cluster/affiliate **S&OP** meetings to drive alignment between key stakeholders around demand management, product supply, and inventory levels; includes development of S&OP process (as needed), promotion of S&OP and it’s tools cross-functionally, and ensuring consensus forecasts; manage supply escalations appropriately.
- Provide updates on status of globally-defined **KPIs **(like Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Health, Customer Service Level), metrics against targets, and directional performance data.
- Monitor **forecast accuracy** trends and align the preventive/corrective actions with the Affiliates under his/her scope to improve performance.
- Responsible for ensuring the **inventory accuracy**, maintain compliance with Global Accounting and Financial Policies, perform SOX controls and minimize the potential for outdated product at the area warehouses.
- Participate in **product launch** activities including geo-expansion launch calls, ensuring accurate forecasts for launches, and tracking sales vs forecast for initial 6-12 months post launch in order to provide recommendations for inventory strategy shifts.
- Recommend solutions to challenges in global supply chain or region, focused on driving **continuous improvement.**:

- Lead/Participate in **projects** that impact supply chain processes globally and within his/her Region/Cluster.
- Develop, train and coach supply chain professionals; drive engagement and collaboration; complete **performance management** cycle for all team members.
- Build and maintain effective **cross-functional relationships** with business leaders, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, and other key stakeholders.

**Qualifications**
- Strong knowledge and understanding of SAP, especially around Demand and Replenishment processes
- Expertise in International Trade
- Detailed understanding of Supply Chain concepts, systems, tools and business processes
- Degree in Supply Chain Management (alternatively, CPIM certified or in progress) or applicable experience
- 5+ years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical, Veterinary or Consumer Goods industry
- Strong business/financial acumen and analytical/problem-solving skills
- Self-management and organizational skills
- Excellent communicator, ability to influence broadly
- Interpersonal effectiveness - able to understand different viewpoints and resolve issues in a constructive manner; able to operate successfully in an international, multicultural environment
