**About the Role**:
This role suits a hands-on operator who thrives in managing details, organization, and data analysis to deliver measurable results. As part of the Procurement team, this individual will play a key role in improving costs, product quality, supply chain reliability, and product innovation—ensuring the company provides exceptional value to its customers.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Supplier and Logistics Coordination**:
Collaborate with suppliers, distribution centers, and carriers to ensure timely, complete, and high-quality delivery of all products.
- **Purchase Order Management**:
Place purchase orders, track inventory levels, and ensure adequate safety stock coverage based on forecasts.
- **Supply Planning**:
Build and maintain the supply plan while sharing forecasts with suppliers to align expectations.
- **Inbound and Outbound Logistics**:
Manage inbound logistics to distribution centers and oversee the end-to-end fulfillment process for retail partner orders, including inventory release, outbound logistics, and invoicing.
- **Performance Tracking and Reporting**:
Leverage available data and reports to monitor operational performance, identify issues, and implement changes based on insights.
- **Process Improvement**:
Drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency of supply chain processes, including waste management and cost-saving efforts.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
Test new processes, onboard procurement technologies, and implement updates to improve operations.
- **Category Strategy Implementation**:
Support the Senior Procurement Manager in executing the category strategy.
- **Reporting**:
Provide regular reports on key metrics, such as inventory health and supplier performance KPIs.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:
Work closely with internal teams to align procurement efforts with the company’s broader goals and contribute to operational excellence.
**Requirements**:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain or procurement operations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Ability to quickly learn and use new tools such as Warehouse Management Systems and EDI portals.
- Proactive, ambitious, and assertive, with the ability to take ownership and think beyond the scope of assigned tasks.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable thriving in a fast-moving, high-growth, and evolving environment.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to work at a desk and on a computer for prolonged periods.
- Comfortable reading information on a computer screen and inputting data into systems.
