Should have good hands on experience in Oracle Apps EBS 12.2.x, 12.1.3, etc.
Have sound understanding of 12.2 architecture, file system and carry good troubleshooting skills.
provides backup recovery and makes recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements.
Formulates policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management, and monitors transaction activity and utilization.
Should be able to do thorough patch analysis, be part of team meetings and provide valuable inputs.
Should have hands on experience in cloning, patching, database upgrade, apps upgrade, etc.
Should be able to write small shell scripts thereby automating some of the regular DBA tasks wherever possible.
Should have good understanding of sql and pl/sql so as to read and understand the problematic area.
Should have done quarterly CPU analysis and patching activity.
Should have good knowledge of auditng procedures, worked in SOx environment and understand the sensitivity of SOx compliance.
Have experience in PCA and ODA, ASM file system and DR/data guard.
Good to have experience in any public cloud like AWS, OCI, Azure, etc.
Open to work in shifts and on weekends if needed
