**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with customers and peers to design and implement workable solutions
- Define and create solutions to help customers realize the full potential of Recurly offering.
- Evaluate merchant integrations and offer best practice recommendations.
- Configure, customize, and support custom solutions.
- Build alliances with Product, Engineering, Customer Success and Enablement teams to solve problems and achieve objectives by sharing knowledge and information.
- Contribute to and foster the Recurly Developer Community.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- At least 1-2 years of programming experience in a commercial environment, preferably with Ruby on Rails, Ruby, Javascript, node, etc.
- Experience with integrations such as webhooks and APIs
- Familiar with SQL development/queries and their automation
- Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies
- Self-motivated, with strong willingness to learn and continually refine your business acumen and establish domain/industry expertise.
- Good communication skills
- A “quality first” mindset, with a willingness to advocate for best practices
**Desired Skills & Experience**:
- Familiar with the FinTech industry, preferably with payment gateways and revenue recognition SW
- Experience designing and developing customer integrations
- Desire to turn new features into elegant code
- Capability to identify technical impacts, recommend best-practice and/or alternate approaches, and provide accurate timeline estimates to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Online presence as a developer (open source SW, Github, Stack Overflow, etc.)
**Bonus Points**:
- Experience with MuleSoft, BigQuery, PostMan, Insomnia, or Looker a plus
- Understanding testing and ensuring code quality
