Arup has been working in Colombia since 2007 and we established a presence in Bogotá in early 2014. We work closely with over 1,100 staff from our 13 offices across the Americas and our office in Madrid, Spain, allowing us to provide a wide range of professional, multi-disciplinary services that adapt to the local regulatory and market conditions.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Bachelor degree in Electrical engineering

**To be successul you must have experience in the following**:

- Designing and evaluating power systems (HV/LV), transmission and distribution networks (HV/LV) and renewable generation systems (Solar, Wind, other)
- Project management
- Construction budgets

You will also need knowledge of design and operation standards and regulations (Retie, NEC, IEC, ANSI, others)

**Responsibilities include**:

- Reviewing and developing preliminary concepts and design engineering plans for power and energy systems
- Participating in analysis and technical and economic evaluations of electrical and energy systems (new technologies)
- Reviewing and developing simulations of energy systems and processes
- Reviewing and preparing plans and diagrams for power and electrical scopes
- Preparing and reviewing lists of equipment and materials for energy systems
- Participating in risk analysis (HAZID, HAZOP, others)
- Developing dimension and engineering calculations for power and electrical systems
- Coordinating design and plan reviews
- Developing activity reports
- Project managing prospects and commercial activities
