**Responsibilities**:

- Involved in design & analysis of requirements
- Develop features based on requirements
- Support testing of features
- Support deployment of features

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience in mobile development using Android SDK with Kotlin and Java.
- Experience with App architecture and its Fundamental principles
- Experience with Android User interface, Animations & transitions and Background tasks
- Strong knowledge of Object-oriented analysis and design, implementation and maintenance.
- Experience with Version control using Git and Github
- Experience with Build toolkit using Gradle to implement continuous integration and build configurations
- Experience in writing Unit tests and analyzing test results
- Experience integrating with systems over REST
- A University or College degree in Computer Science or equivalent field

**Nice to have**:

- Good understanding of App security.
- Good understanding of Audio & Video elements in Android.
- Good understanding of Permissions, App data and User location in Android.
- Experience with AndroidTV or FireTV.
- Strong knowledge of Declarative programming, such as SQL, regular expressions, functional programming, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Publishing an app.
- Web frontend technologies: HTML5, DOM, JavaScript and CSS an asset.
- Development tools: Jira, Confluence, Lint, Charles Proxy, Postman, Bitrise and Chrome DevTools.
- Development platforms: MacOS, Windows and Unix/Linux
- Exposure to other mobile architecture components, such as View binding, WorkManager, Navigation component and Dependency injection.
- Experience working with a distributed team with both onshore and offshore developers.
