**About the role**:
We're looking for a highly skilled **Quotation Specialist,** In this roleyou will be gathering and analyzing data to develop and investigate potential solutions by preparing accurate and compelling quotations for prospective and existing clients. You’ll be a vital link by working alongside the sales team and other departments to ensure the timely and precise delivery of quotations that align with the company's pricing strategies and objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing, and deployment tasks of our software.

Excellent communication, numerical skills, an analytical mindset, and strong attention to detail are essential to success in this position. This role requires defining configuration specifications and business analysis requirements, creating, and following up on quotations, modifying them as necessary, and efficiently accomplishing your task in the quickest time possible or at least in about one-third the time that most competent people think possible.

**Responsibilities**:

- Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
- Reviewing customer inquiries and determining the appropriate products and pricing in the quotation.
- Conduct cost analysis to determine the pricing of goods.
- Build strong relationships with vendors.
- Define reporting and alerting requirements, compile charts, tables, and other elements of data visualization.
- Creating financial models to support business decisions
- Possessing a good understanding of economic trends and the ability to predict pricing directions.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide additional information as needed.
- Follow up on quotations and modify quotes as necessary.
- Consistently demonstrates superior customer service by combining system knowledge, sales, product, and problem-solving skills to exceed customer expectations.
- Prepare and submit quotations to potential customers on time.
- Collaborating with the sales team to ensure that the quotation meets the customer's needs and expectations.
- Formulate ways for businesses to improve, based on previous research.
- Able to understand macroeconomic trends
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all quotations and related activities.
- Provide feedback to the sales team on customer needs and market trends.
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the quotation process.
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customers.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and changes to pricing or product offerings.
- Having an interest in geopolitics and economics is preferred.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance.
- Strong Analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and understanding of how market pricing works.
- Basic knowledge in generating process documentation and creating quotes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical market analysis skills.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies and cost analysis.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must feel comfortable working in a dynamic, team-based environment where priorities are continually changing.
- Confidence in working with complex data and systems
- An understanding of how IT can be used to resolve problems
- Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment.
- Familiarity with financial and project management principles.
- High pressure boiler room type environment to send quotes
