**ROLE MAIN**:
Support transactional processing and authorization for respective Trade Finance and/or Trade Working Capital Finance including the review of supportive documentation tied to the transaction in accordance to US and international regulations & standards. The function includes analysis for internal consistencies (as business policies) and in-compliance with governmental regulations for import/export restrictions, as well as the approval of the operation of the same products
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide checker role for transactional processing support for Documentation Unit.
- Analyze support documents to ensure correctness of the transaction
- Authorize transactions in the platforms complying with all Citi policies
- Check transactions issued by other analysts and correct them when necessary
- Review / issue Legal agreements related to Trade services or Trade Finance and Products, based on templates available
- Review documents for internal consistency and compliance with governmental documentary regulations and import/export restrictions
- If required, perform Signature Verification and Power of Attorney Analysis to executed versions of legal contracts
- Send evidences of the issuance, with all support documents to be consisted against originals in branch
- Provide creative solutions to reduce errors and to ensure adherence to audit and control policies
- Provide back-up coverage for team members and assist team members during high volume periods (Analyst or Checker functions)
- Utilize technical knowledge in order to deliver quality service and achieve operating efficiency
- Participate in activities related to compliance with procedures and control
- Minimize risk to the bank through increased knowledge of procedural requirements
- Maintain awareness of product changes and system enhancements
- Ensure attendance at mandatory trainings.
- Interact on a daily basis Business partners, Product Heads and Senior Management.
- Manage on a daily basis all pending and service related activities, ensuring the processing and dispatching and delivery of very high quality service to our customers and internal partners
- Responsibility to ensure smooth, error free process flow
- Responsibility for the maintenance of a control environment.

- Participate in UAT, implementation and training if needed
- Participate in process migrations
- Perform within departmental procedures and compliance standards in order to minimize losses to the Firm

Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Advanced skills in MS Office including Power BI
- Process migration experience is an advantage
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Spanish. Portuguese is an advantage.
