Local SEO Specialist

Savant Marketing is a fast-growing marketing agency that helps landscaping companies generate high-quality leads and scale their businesses with proven marketing and automation systems. We’re looking for a skilled Local SEO Specialist to join our team and take our SEO department to the next level.

**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Research top competitors using and identify local ranking opportunities.
- Optimize GBP listings with complete info, keywords, photos, and service categories.
- Coordinate and manage review collection, responses, and reputation monitoring.
- Upload fresh project photos weekly with keyword-rich, geo-specific captions.
- Create and post keyword-optimized GBP posts on a weekly basis.
- Order and manage citations to build consistent local directory listings.
- Track monthly GBP performance metrics and report insights to the team.
- Stay current with Google updates and implement ongoing optimization improvements.
- Create reports that break down key campaign metrics and suggest actionable improvements.
- Stay up to date with platform changes, trends, and best practices.

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years of experience in Local SEO.
- Must work within EST timezone (9am to 5pm)
- Strong knowledge of local ranking factors, keywords, and on-page SEO.
- Skilled in Google Sheets, Google Drive, and basic data organization.
- Excellent written English.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Reliable internet connection and ability to handle multiple clients.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot trends in data.
- Preference for introverted, numbers-driven individuals who genuinely enjoy SEO.

**Nice-to-Haves**
- Experience with landscaping, construction, or home service industries
- Familiarity with tools like Go High-Level, Whitespark
- Basic photo editing or geo-tagging knowledge
- Experience writing keyword-optimized content or posts
