Job Summary

Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist. Focused in Product Compliance and advocacy, business and customer support. Accountable to execute regulatory strategy in the Andean Region. Main focal point to the Functional Ingredients Business. Good relationship skills, good food regulatory knowledge (Andean). Participation in Trade Associations. Experience with regulation other jurisdictions are welcome. English is a must have.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Active involvement with new projects and new product developments, defining regulatory strategies and supporting dossier work on an as needed basis;
- Ensure that relevant risk evaluation and management processes are followed and complete;
- Identify advocacy needs in the region and work with colleagues globally, including the Scientific and Public Affairs team to pro-actively track and assess impact of relevant regulations and guidance documents with reference to IFF’s products;
- Interface with local competent authorities and trade associations, to understand regulatory issues of direct impact to the use of IFFs products;
- Translator of global and regional regulatory issues to the different internal stakeholders (e.g. commercial teams, quality, operations,) as well as external stakeholders (e.g., customers);
- Interface with internal business functions to define optimal regulatory pathways aligned with business plans, development opportunities and R&D objectives;
- Provide regulatory support for customer regulatory filings as needed;
- Develop, submit and support regional dossiers for approval as needed;
- Provide regional regulatory input during cross functional business projects.

**Requirements**:

- Years of experience: 3- 5 years in similar positions
- Chemical engineering, Food engineering, nutrition or equivalent
- Regulations Knowledge: Andean Region - CODEX
- Advance English
- Be physical located in Colombia
