Overview Our growing immigration law firm is seeking a Bilingual Remote HR Generalist to lead and support core HR functions for a fully remote team across multiple Latin American countries. In this role, you’ll help us scale with excellence while protecting what matters most—our culture and our people. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Hiring (Dedication + Mission-motivated) Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels. Create, post, monitor, and update job postings across platforms. Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interview scheduling. Maintain timely, transparent communication with candidates. Prepare and manage hiring tools (scorecards, interview guides, templates) to support consistent, values-aligned decisions. Onboarding & Training (Empowerment) Manage end-to-end onboarding, including documentation, orientation, and system access. Deliver and continuously improve onboarding so team members integrate smoothly into our culture and expectations. Create training materials, SOPs, and polished presentations/decks that empower staff to succeed. HR Operations & Procedures (Resourcefulness + Accountability) Develop, maintain, and refine HR policies, procedures, and SOPs in collaboration with leadership. Improve HR workflows using structured systems; familiarity with AI-enabled tools is a plus. Support compliance with internal standards and applicable labor/contracting considerations for remote teams across the globe. PTO, Attendance & Benefits Support (Accountability) Track and audit PTO, leave requests, attendance, and timekeeping. Coordinate benefits and HR communications so employees receive timely, accurate information. Maintain organized records for reporting, audits, and internal compliance. Employee Relations, Culture & Performance Support (Empowerment + Dedication) Serve as a consistent HR point of contact across time zones. Support performance reviews, growth plans, and career development initiatives. Promote a respectful, transparent remote culture rooted in trust and accountability. Compensation & Administrative Support (Resourcefulness) Support salary updates, promotion documentation, and internal job leveling processes. Maintain accurate digital personnel records and HR files. Provide HR reporting and operational support to leadership as needed. Required Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years in an HR Generalist/Coordinator role, ideally supporting remote teams. Demonstrated experience with sourcing and job posting management. Experience in legal, professional services, or a fast-paced small business is a plus. Core Skills Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) with strong written and verbal communication. Excellent documentation and attention to detail. High confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment. Strong organization, follow-through, and ability to manage competing priorities. Ability to create clear, visually polished training materials and presentations. Technical Skills Comfort with Excel/Sheets, LinkedIn, ATS tools, Google Workspace, and productivity platforms. Experience using AI tools to improve workflows is preferred.
