We're looking for an Accounting Consultant to join us remotely, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST.

Responsibilities:

  1. Meet with clients to gather documents, provide training, and present recommendations.
  2. Build strong relationships with clients.
  3. Handle weekly bookkeeping tasks (reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable, cash flow reporting).
  4. Organize tasks and manage your calendar.
  5. Review client data and suggest improvements.
  6. Present data to clients to ensure accuracy.
  7. Stay updated on client-related applications (e.g., Shopify, PayPal).
  8. Customize QuickBooks reports and generate KPI reports.
  9. Prepare necessary reports and documentation.
  10. Identify ways to improve work processes.

Requirements:

  1. Self-motivated and confident working remotely.
  2. Good communication and organizational skills.
  3. Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines.
  4. Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  5. Passionate about helping clients succeed.

Preferred:

  1. 4+ years of accounting experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  3. Experience with multiple companies; CPA firm experience is a plus.
  4. Strong Excel skills.
  5. Bilingual skills are a plus.
