Amadeus Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia Product Management Specialist Location: Bogotá, Hybrid Position Type: Permanent External Job Title: Product Management Specialist Job Family: Product/Solution Management Job Profile: Product Management Specialist About The Role As a Business Analyst on Navitaire’s Booking Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of airline reservation systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Developers, QA, Product Managers, and client stakeholders—to define, refine, and deliver booking functionality enhancements across Navitaire’s New Skies platform. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and airline clients to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements for booking-related features and enhancements. User Story Development: Translate business needs into clear, actionable Agile user stories and acceptance criteria. Maintain the team backlog and ensure alignment with product goals. Domain Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in offer, order, settle, and deliver (OOSD) and core PSS booking system behavior. Provide guidance to development and QA teams on functional expectations and edge cases. Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with developers, QA analysts, and other BAs to ensure smooth handoffs and shared understanding of requirements. Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Client Engagement: Support client-facing discussions to clarify requirements, demonstrate functionality, and gather feedback. Represent the Booking Team in cross-domain initiatives and escalations. Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain up-to-date documentation on booking processes, including code switch procedures and system behavior. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve delivery efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. Business Analyst experience, or similar field, preferably in the airline, travel tech, or a similar industry. Strong understanding of airline reservation systems and booking workflows. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Confluence, and an airline PSS or GDS is a plus.
