About the RoleWe're seeking an exceptional Full-Stack Developer to join our growing team and help build the future of insurance technology in LATAM. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on a platform that's already proving its transformative impact in the industry, while helping to shape our technical direction as we scale.
Key Responsibilities- AI Integration: Implement AI/ML applications to enhance predictive capabilities such as upselling opportunities and policy lapse risk detection.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to improving development processes.
- API Development: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Cloud Services: Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for deploying and scaling applications.
- Testing & Deployment: Write automated tests and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in full-stack web application development.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in JavaScript and frameworks like React.js or Angular.
- Strong experience with server-side languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Python.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Advanced Education: Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and data analytics.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and state management tools like Redux.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and real-time data processing.
- Industry Experience:
- Background in fintech or insurtech industries.
- Understanding of the insurance sales process in LATAM markets.
- Language Skills:
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
