Hitachi Vantara Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team in Los Angeles. As a key member of our digital engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and building innovative products, platforms, and digital experiences for the modern world.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Write high-quality React code and write tests (Jest) for features.
  2. Develop high-quality Java code and write tests for features.
  3. Experience with a complete lifecycle of software development, from design to productionization.
  4. Conduct E2E tests for assigned features.
  5. Ensure quality and meet delivery dates for assigned features.
  6. Work independently with Product Owners to confirm and polish business requirements.
  7. Report and mitigate potential risks and deviations in time.
  8. Optimize applications to maximize speed and scale.
  9. Coordinate less experienced team members collaborating with assigned features.
  10. Troubleshoot framework/CI/env issues and fix them.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for writing high-quality and maintainable code, ensuring that the delivered solutions meet the required standards. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • English (Upper-Intermediate). At least an Upper-Intermediate English level.
  • Proficient in Java.
  • Proficient working with ReactJS.
  • Proficient in Javascript & Typescript.
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
  • Strong knowledge of Semantic HTML.
  • Experience working with GIT.
  • Experience working with Gradle.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with low supervision.
  • Must demonstrate a hands-on attitude, attention to detail, and results orientation.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them to technical solutions.
  • Good knowledge of the continuous deployment and integration process.
  • Ability to ramp-up quickly, is proactive, and takes ownership.
  • Should be comfortable adapting to changing requirements and design.
  • (Nice to have) Experience working with Python will be a major plus.
