This role is designed for a professional focused on maintaining, extending, and enhancing existing reporting and data models, primarily within Power BI. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate, scalable, and business-ready reporting that supports decision-making across teams. Location: Must be in Colombia – Remote. Environment: Colombian and International Teams. Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1). Timezone: Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST. Contract: Non-fixed Term Colombian Contract. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Proven experience working with Power BI for reporting and dashboard development, and SQL for data manipulation and reporting support. Skills: SQL: Intermediate proficiency (maintaining and modifying existing views, building intermediate logic as needed). Power BI: Strong experience with data modeling, table relationships, and dashboard/report development. DAX: Working knowledge to support accurate and scalable reporting. Data Visualization: Ability to translate defined requirements into intuitive, business-ready dashboards. Python & ETL: Preferred but not required; exposure is a plus. Characteristics: Detail-oriented, collaborative, comfortable executing against clearly defined requirements, and proactive in refining reports and visuals with stakeholders. Responsibilities: Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards. Modify and extend SQL views to support reporting needs, particularly for marketing analytics. Ensure reporting accuracy through proper Power BI data modeling and DAX logic. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to refine metrics, visuals, and outputs. Communicate effectively with international teams via meetings, email, and Teams chat, escalating architectural decisions when required.
