Job Summary At ABATECH , our IT team ensures smooth operations for all employees across the U.S. and Medellín by providing timely, high-quality support. We’re seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide responsive technical assistance, solve issues, and help maintain business continuity. What You’ll Do Assist hardware, software, and connectivity issues using ticketing and calling platforms. Diagnose and resolve incidents, escalating to Tier 2/3 when needed, while ensuring ownership until resolution. Perform user account management (password resets, provisioning, de‑provisioning, and access control). Support IT onboarding, including device setup and configuration. Monitor system alerts, update documentation, and contribute to compliance and audit readiness. Deliver white‑glove support to upper management as needed. Collaborate with the IT team to continuously improve service quality and processes. What We’re Looking For Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. 1+ year of IT support experience . Strong knowledge of: Microsoft 365 , Ticketing systems , Networking basics (VPN, LAN/Wi‑Fi) , Software/hardware installation & configuration . Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft 365 Certified . English B2 (mandatory – able to converse fluently, read technical documentation, and provide written updates). Strong customer service, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills. Shift : Between 6 am – 8 pm (Colombia time), aligned with U.S. hours. Full‑time.
