Responsibilities Support the Category Lead in category strategy development, maintain key relationships within the business, and lead key supplier relationships. Shape, connect and influence resources to deliver on key projects. The category scope includes oversight of Technical Services and Consulting sub-categories. Develop, direct and implement procurement strategies and deliver against targets for financial performance, quality, service and compliance. Develop and drive the Procurement vision with and through the stakeholder community. Develop vision, strategy and implementation plan for specific spend categories to meet long-range business requirements and maximize value for Johnson & Johnson. Lead Supplier Relationship Management of strategic suppliers to ensure alignment of objectives including quality, reliability, innovation and cost. Understand long-range business requirements and engage in strategic planning and partnering to ensure alignment. Deliver on financial, service, reliability, quality, innovation, and growth commitments. Build and manage relationships across Johnson & Johnson to enable dynamic dialogue on critical perspectives and information for optimal solutions. Develop deep supplier relationships with strategic suppliers, including data review and analysis, performance management, and end-to-end value improvement and innovation. Identify, develop and direct the implementation of procurement goals and category strategies based on subject matter expertise and market dynamics. Leverage data analytics and technology to develop procurement strategies aligned with business needs. Manage supplier relationships, communicate changes to category strategy, execute joint initiatives, and monitor negotiations. Lead team meetings and provide updates to Procurement Leadership. Lead and prioritize portfolio of procurement initiatives for the Innovative Medicine and MedTech segments. Qualifications Education A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. Experience and Skills Required: Broad-based understanding of business operations and core procurement areas of focus in Spend Management. Ability to prioritize requests and propose cost/customer service alternatives. Judgment in developing new approaches and resolving issues. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with J&J senior management. Strategic thinking and prior project management experience. Ability to continuously improve the organization. Preferred: Strong proficiency in core procurement skills (e.g., supplier management and performance, market analysis, Category Management, Procurement Excellence). Credibility with internal customers and supplier community. Influencing skills with ability to consider multiple viewpoints and partner needs across teams (e.g., Business, Procurement LT, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain).
