Position overview We are hiring for a global client who does data, AI and customer experience consulting for financial services companies and other regulated industries. They help their customers modernize their systems, automate processes, and improve outcomes, primarily through using tools such as Salesforce and nCino. Our client is looking for an AI Business Analyst who has strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn and systematize how to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.). The role will involve doing market & industry research, heavily with the assistance of ChatGPT and Claude, to develop and enhance industry frameworks and client pitches. The role will work closely with the CEO. Responsibilities Market and industry research (AI-Assisted) : Use ChatGPT and Claude to research financial services trends, competitors, and innovations, then synthesize findings into actionable insights for internal teams and client proposals. Digital maturity model development : Build and refine digital maturity frameworks for banking, credit unions, and wealth management, mapping client needs to the company’s solution capabilities. Client pitch and proposal support : Collaborate with consulting and sales teams to create tailored client materials – such as presentations, briefs, and value propositions. Continuous learning and experimentation : Explore emerging AI tools, prompt engineering methods, and industry trends to continuously improve the firm’s research and analytical approaches. Requirements Recent university graduate (last 1-2 years) with major or specialization in Economics, Commerce, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related analytical fields. 1+ years of experience in a role that requires intensive research, analysis and critical thinking. Proven track record of using AI tools, especially ChatGPT and Claude, in innovative and creative ways (e.g. prompt design, creating custom GPTs, basic model training and fine-tuning). Strong business acumen and the ability to think through complex business problems. Excellent learning mindset and relentless curiosity to learn about new technologies and industries. Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize effectively. Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments; you ask questions when something’s unclear. Strong written communication and summarization. Nice to have: experience working in financial services or fintech, with a basic understanding of financial services workflows (e.g. lending, onboarding, compliance). Location This is a fully remote position but all applicants must be based in Kenya and be Kenyan citizens.
