Senior Business Analyst – Jeeves Location: Bogotá, Colombia – full‑time hybrid (2‑3 days in office). Job Overview You will lead the development of data‑driven credit policies and business strategies, optimizing underwriting, strengthening credit management, and minimizing portfolio risk. The role involves cross‑functional initiatives to enhance our data and analytics framework, support scalable business growth, and improve credit monitoring and governance. Key Responsibilities Lead the development of best‑in‑class data‑driven credit policies and business strategies by leveraging external (e.g., banking, tax, credit bureau) and internal performance data. Design and implement processes to minimize credit loss, identify high‑risk customers, and develop strategies for credit line management. Deliver advancements in data and analytics by building a framework for processing, underwriting, risk management, and reporting, collaborating with data scientists on predictive models. Improve credit monitoring and governance through KPI definition, dashboard creation, and enhancement of portfolio monitoring and risk rating assignments. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, fostering a culture of rigorous analysis and innovation. Required Qualifications 4+ years in analytics within credit risk management. Fluent in English (internal corporate language). Excellent written and verbal communication skills and intellectual curiosity. Experience in commercial credit risk, specifically within credit cards, payments, lending, or related industries. Proven ability to translate complex data and model results into actionable business strategies. Experience utilizing alternative data sources. Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel. Experience using Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling (e.g., regression, clustering). Preferred Qualifications Experience in architecting, implementing, and interpreting risk/scoring models with data science teams. Experience in high‑growth startups. Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau. Experience building complex financial products and models.
