Role As an IBM i Administrator, you’ll keep critical platforms running smoothly for some of the world’s largest organizations. Your expertise ensures reliability, security, and performance—because when systems work, businesses thrive. Responsibilities Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize IBM i environments to keep clients’ operations seamless. Recommend and implement enhancements that improve resilience and efficiency. Collaborate with technical teams, manage task queues, and ensure timely resolution of issues. Required Skills And Experience Minimum 3 years of experience as an IBM i Administrator, managing critical environments and ensuring system performance. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2016/2019) administration and configuration. Hands‑on experience with VMware ESX environments. Familiarity with public and private cloud platforms, including migration from on‑premises to cloud solutions. Ability to manage system security, including user access and password controls. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach. Preferred Skills And Experience Experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaaS). Knowledge of vulnerability management practices and tools. Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and federation services. Exposure to modernization initiatives and cloud‑native technologies.
