Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake + DBT + Python) Start Date: January 2026 Interviews: Starting next week Location: Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia About the Position: CPIM Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in Snowflake, DBT, and Python to join one of our clients from the United States, who is in the process of opening operations in Bogotá. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines. Implement and optimize DBT models following best practices. Manage and administer Snowflake environments. Develop data integrations and transformations using Python. Troubleshoot and continuously optimize ETL/ELT processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data, BI, Product, Engineering). Ensure best practices in architecture, documentation, and version control. Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer. Snowflake. DBT (Data Build Tool). Experience with CI/CD, Git, and data-oriented DevOps practices. Strong understanding of data modeling, cloud architectures, and scalable storage. B2+ English level for communication with U.S.-based teams. Based in Bogotá, or willing to relocate if required. Nice to Have: Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster). Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure. Experience working with large-scale data environments. Certifications in Snowflake or Data Engineering. What We Offer (Summary): Monthly salary in Colombian pesos (COP), depending on contract type and experience. Work modality can be remote, hybrid, or onsite, depending on the client’s operational structure. Opportunity to work with a U.S. client opening operations in Bogotá. Exposure to modern data engineering tools and collaboration with international teams. Full-time position, starting in January 2026, with interviews beginning next week.
