Note to Applicants Our client is looking for a Full-cycle Bookkeeper to take ownership of end-to-end accounting processes and ensure the highest level of financial accuracy across multiple clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of accrual basis accounting and US GAAP, and hands-on experience managing accounts payable and receivable. You’ll collaborate directly with the Accounting Manager and CFO, providing financial insights that support decision-making and drive operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Lead and maintain full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients. Manage and reconcile AP and AR accounts, ensuring timely posting and accuracy. Oversee accrual-based accounting processes, including adjusting entries and month-end accruals. Reconcile bank, credit card, payroll, and intercompany accounts. Manage month-end and year-end closings, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and compliant. Prepare management reports, balance sheets, and P&L statements. Identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring data integrity across systems. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed. Communicate proactively with clients and leadership to ensure alignment and transparency. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting roles. Strong knowledge of accrual basis accounting and AP/AR management. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (must). Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven knowledge of US GAAP and best practices in accounting. Strong attention to detail and ownership mentality. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Experience working in a US-based firm or with multiple clients simultaneously. Nice to Have Advanced Excel or reporting tool proficiency. Prior exposure to management reporting or supporting CFO-level decisions. Ability to mentor junior team members and streamline accounting workflows. Visa to be able to travel to the US. Insurance industry experience. Schedule Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM EST. Compensation Contractor model - USD salary. Location 100% remote.
