Payroll Analyst NAM – Johnson & Johnson Location: Bogotá, Distrito Capital, Colombia Job Function Finance / Payroll Job Description This role will be part of the Global Services Finance team in the Enterprise & Employees Financial Services process area. The Global Services Finance organization provides best‑in‑class, cost‑effective financial services and compliance—in a J&J way—to our Operating Companies around the world. Position Summary The Analyst will be part of the Bogota Capability Center organization. You should have strong HR or Finance operations experience with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, and compliance. As an Analyst, you will consistently deliver assigned tasks and responsibilities for the Americas region, review, validate, and analyze results and reports, and facilitate tactical responsibilities in Incident and Change Management, Continuous Improvement initiatives, digital capabilities project deliverables, and system upgrades. You will follow J&J Global Services tools, procedures, and guidelines in discharge of your day‑to‑day duties. Strong collaboration, adaptability and time‑management are critical for this role. Key Responsibilities Ensure payroll‑related data from company internal applications interfaces into the payroll system before the payroll deadline. Support accounting, payments, Time & Attendance, and Long‑Term incentives as part of Payroll. Perform checks, controls, variance analysis and reconciliations during pre‑payroll processing and before payroll is finalized. Serve as payroll support for different phases of projects such as testing, data management, and process documentation. Provide expertise on payroll calculation processes with third‑party payroll providers. Support multi‑country payroll to maintain an effective operational model in compliance with company policies and statutory and legal requirements. Perform reporting and remittances such as month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end payroll returns. Execute globally established standards for SOX compliance, internal controls, and required regulatory/statutory requirements. Maintain confidentiality, data protection, and conformity with J&J policies and external regulations. Update and maintain payroll process and administration documentation. Identify and raise continuous improvement and automation opportunities. Support cross‑functional projects with payroll dependencies. Resolve payroll‑related inquiries. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required. Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in Payroll or HR operations (Americas Region). Knowledge of U.S. payroll processing (processes, regulations, vendor landscape, etc.). Advanced English language verbal and written communication skills. Payroll certification preferred (e.g., CPP, FPC). Research and problem‑solving skills. Ability to execute tactically, adapt quickly, and address day‑to‑day operational challenges with minimal supervision. Cultural awareness and ability to work with people across multiple markets. Prior experience with deployment or implementation projects preferred. Knowledge of leading third‑party payroll providers (ADP, NGA, SDWorx, etc.). Prior multinational company experience and/or Finance/HR Shared Services experience preferred. Experience with e‑Time, Kronos, Salesforce Service Cloud, SAP, Workday preferred. Knowledge of Knowledge Management artifacts such as Desktop Procedures (DTPs) and compliance requirements (SOX, Business Controls) required.
