Job Overview IQVIA Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia – (Senior) Data Team Lead Lead and manage the delivery of data management services for single or multi‑service projects, ensuring high‑quality deliverables, customer satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities Independently manage end‑to‑end delivery of data management services for single or multi‑service projects, ensuring quality deliverables on time and within budget. Provide comprehensive data management expertise to the Clinical Data Management (CDM) team, delivering high‑quality products that meet customer needs. Lead project planning, execution, close‑out, financial management, communications, and milestone deliverables. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on data management deliverables. Manage multiple large studies or programs of studies (possibly global) and provide senior support to Data Team Leads on multiple projects. Provide project management expertise, working with customer data managers and internal teams to manage continuous process improvements, issue escalation, workload projections, and technical expertise. Lead direct negotiations with customers on timelines, financials, processes, and resources. Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure open communication with customers and IQVIA management to meet contractual obligations. Meet regularly with the Data Operations Coordinator or team to ensure milestones meet timelines and quality deliverables. Provide training and development on data management expertise to junior team members. Serve as the escalation point for unresolved data issues and work with client data managers, vendors, and internal teams for resolution. Independently manage DM service delivery with comprehensive DM process and technical expertise. Serve as Subject Matter Expert and provide leadership and expertise in specific CDM tasks or technologies. Train and mentor junior DTL staff and coordinate the work of more junior DTL staff. Maintain internal tracking databases and systems. Independently manage SOWs, budgets, review financial reports, identify out‑of‑scope tasks, track change orders, and participate in pricing discussions. Serve as Project Manager for single‑service DM projects, including financial tracking, revenue recognition, and invoicing. Support the RFP process (review RFP documents, pricing, attend bid defense). Bring process improvements and solutions to the CDM team/department, lead focus teams, and manage implementation of new technology or tools. Present at professional conferences and/or publish articles in professional journals. Provide review and expert opinion in developing, revising, and maintaining core operating procedures and work instructions. Perform other duties as directed by the functional manager. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Health, Clinical, Biological, Mathematical Sciences, or related field. 7 years of direct Data Management experience, including 5 or more years as a CDM project lead; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience acceptable. Previous experience and proven competence in managing delivery of multiple global trials through the full DM life cycle (e.g., large trials of at least 1000 patients). Demonstrated expert data management skills and advanced knowledge of the DM process (therapeutic area, SAE reconciliation, external data vendor reconciliation, local laboratory data, new technology). Experience handling complex customer negotiations and bid defense meetings independently. Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, Anatomy, and/or Physiology. Knowledge of operating procedures and work instructions, and the ability to apply them in practice. Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and relevant regulatory guidelines. Comprehensive understanding of the clinical drug development process. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and customers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
