In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic decision-making. You will lead a talented team of developers, ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable Power BI solutions while collaborate directly with onshore stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into actionable insights. What You Will Do Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of Power BI developers, overseeing project timelines, code reviews, and technical growth. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for onshore teams to gather requirements and present data-driven solutions. Solution Architecture: Design and implement robust data models and end-to-end Power BI reports that meet organizational standards. Performance Optimization: Ensure high performance of reports and dashboards through expert-level SQL query optimization and efficient DAX logic. Governance & Deployment: Manage the Power BI Service environment, including workspace management, security (RLS), and scheduled refreshes. Strategic Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex data integration or visualization challenges to maintain data integrity and user trust. What You Bring Power BI Mastery: Extensive experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including advanced report design and environment administration. Advanced DAX & SQL: Proficiency in writing complex DAX functions and high-performance SQL queries for data extraction and transformation. Data Modeling: In-depth understanding of relational database concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and data warehousing principles. Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading a technical team, managing workflows, and fostering a collaborative environment. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work directly with onshore teams and non-technical stakeholders. Nice If You Have Experience with Power Query (M language) for complex data transformations. Familiarity with Azure Data Factory or other ETL tools. Knowledge of Python or R for advanced statistical analysis within Power BI. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate / PL-300).
