The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of payroll with Workday. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the payroll, including Payroll Processing/Liquidation, Final Settlement, severance pay and salary retention using Workday. Retirement processing, social security and health. Ensure compliance with IFRS-GAAP and other regulatory requirements by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles and standards and keeping abreast of changes in accounting regulations and industry trends. Work closely with other departments, such as finance, tax, and audit, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information and support the organization's overall financial goals. Provide guidance and support to other members of the accounting team, including training and mentoring junior staff and delegating tasks as needed. Reviews accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations and makes or directs correcting entries. The position is also responsible for planning, organizing and control of accounting process flows and adherence to policies and procedures. Qualifications English - Spanish Language (Oral and writing B2+ or above). Bachelor's degree in accounting, with a minimum of 5+ years of payroll accounting experience. Experience and knowledge with Workday payroll. Cloudpay/International experience is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
