Apply today# **Job Details****Job Details**The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the proper management of activities related to the accounts payable process, guaranteeing accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and applicable legal regulations. This role supervises the accounts payable team into the CBS, coordinates operational processes, and contributes to the optimization of workflows.**Responsibilities*** Team Supervision and Management: Lead and supervise the accounts payable team, ensuring goals and objectives are met.Provide support and training to the team to improve productivity and work quality.* Process Management: Oversee invoice processing and payments to vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Review and approve payments, ensuring compliance with internal policies and contract terms.Coordinate the resolution of discrepancies with vendors and other departments.* Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve workflows and automate processes.Implement best practices in the accounts payable area.* Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with applicable tax and legal regulations related to payments.Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits.* Analysis and Reporting: Generate periodic reports on the status of accounts payable, including key metrics such as average payment days and outstanding invoices.Inform the Finance Manager of any critical issues or risks identified..**Education*** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.**Work Experience*** Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable or related areas, with at least 3 years in supervisory roles.* Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and financial management tools.* Knowledge of applicable tax and legal regulations related to payments.**Skills and Knowledge*** English proficiency (written and oral).* Strong communication skills (oral and written).* Leadership and team management abilities.* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.* Ability to analyze data and generate clear reports.* Results-oriented.* Planning and organizational skills.* Teamwork.* Adaptability and proactivity.# ******What Cencora offers******Benefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
