About The Role We are seeking a dedicated mid-level Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team in a full-cycle recruiting capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with hiring leaders, candidate pools, peer partners, and third-party vendors to fulfill USAA’s hiring needs. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating and executing innovative sourcing strategies to proactively identify and attract diverse talent. This position offers a flexible work environment requiring in-office presence four days per week and is based at our San Antonio, TX location. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this role. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; four years of related experience may be substituted for a degree. Minimum of four years of progressive experience in staffing, human resources, or account relationship management, with a solid understanding of employment laws and regulations. Proficiency in recruiting methods, sourcing techniques, and applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance standards. Effective screening, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and sourcing tools to support recruitment activities. Responsibilities Identify and build partnerships within communities to generate a diverse pool of qualified candidates aligned with organizational hiring objectives. Design and implement creative sourcing strategies to proactively attract talent for open positions. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting jobs, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and extending offers. Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop community networks, especially supporting military, diversity, and college hiring initiatives. Ensure timely follow-up with candidates, maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (Workday), and adhere to all compliance and regulatory requirements. Create compelling job descriptions that differentiate USAA from competitors and attract top talent. Maintain high-touch communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing a positive candidate experience. Negotiate salary offers within approved ranges, ensuring fiduciary responsibility and alignment with market standards. Forecast talent pool needs to meet workforce plans and hiring goals, adjusting sourcing strategies accordingly. Partner with hiring managers and internal teams to understand business requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies. Build and maintain candidate pipelines through networking, sourcing tools, and strategic outreach. Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable work environment. Apply knowledge of employment law, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance across all recruitment activities.
