About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking an accountant with Payroll experience, preferred but not required, to directly support the Latin America operation process in a broad range of tasks. Candidate must have the ability to work independently and exercise intelligent judgment with little supervision. Also, the candidate must be able to adapt to varying demands from different internal areas with a high level of performance.

The successful candidate will be one who is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, roll-up-your-sleeves, team-focused environment while managing with precision the most intricate of details. Intuitiveness, maturity, tact, critical thinking, and professionalism are crucial to successfully working within the CAO organization. They will interface well with all levels and departments of the company and will always represent our team in a highly professional and positive manner.

Where you will make an impact

  1. Understand the Latin American process at an operative level, ensuring that all monthly processes are completed in a timely manner. Examples of this include payroll administration, accounting, taxes, and billing.
  2. Deliver the payroll inputs requested by the local payroll partners, ensuring that all the information, reports, and adjustments are included. These tasks will imply timely communication with internal areas within the organization, such as Benefits, Human Resources, and Compensation.
  3. Assist with accounting month-end closing in the USA and Latin America. Examples of this include entering accounting transactions into SAP, monthly account reconciliations, assisting with customer transactions, and reconciling SAP to our local ERPs.
  4. Execute the approval process for payroll, taxes, benefits, and all the other payments for the employees in Latin America.
  5. Receive and resolve all payroll-related questions from the employees and internal areas in the organization.
  6. Facilitate communications between the employees and the internal areas related to payroll.
  7. Process administrative tasks related to accounting as needed, ensuring local compliance.
  8. Act as second-in-command to his supervisor and take care of all duties in their absence.

What you will bring

  1. 3-to-5 years’ experience in accounting and local payroll processing or administration.
  2. Ability to operate in a dynamic environment, work independently with minimal supervision, take on multiple tasks, shift priorities quickly, prioritize, and achieve timely and thorough completion of assignments.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills & sense of urgency with an ability to form and maintain effective working relationships.
  4. Willingness to provide support to other areas or sectors of the company.
  5. Possess excellent communication skills and be able to juggle multiple tasks. Must have strong organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Willingness to work hard and have fun while at it
