Job Title: Senior Corporate Accountant
We are seeking a skilled Senior Corporate Accountant to join our accounting team at Cloudstaff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and experience with financial close processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly journal entries for prepaid accounts.
- Prepare monthly accrual journal entries for various opex areas.
- Liaise with business and finance & strategy team on estimate of accruals.
- Independently identify variances and propose adjustments to the general ledger.
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations with an in-depth analysis.
- Prepare the GL flux analysis on a monthly basis to identify GL variances period over period and explain the business drivers of the variances.
- Support SOX requests on prepaid and accrual areas to ensure compliance with SOX key controls.
- Record intercompany transactions for assigned international entities as needed.
- Record cost plus journal entries as needed.
- Respond to internal and external requests.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of total experience.
- Understanding of GAAP standards.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud.
- Experience with process improvement and proficiency with spreadsheets.
- Hands-on experience in the financial close process (preferred).
- Experience with foreign entity accounting (preferred).
