POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team based in Bogotá, Colombia. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective management of the accounts receivable process, maintaining team efficiency, and achieving financial targets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, coaching team members, and implementing strategies to enhance AR performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee and manage the accounts receivable function, including all the interaction with different functions that are tied to this such as billing, cash applications, disputes and others in order to maintain accurate records of outstanding balances. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of AR Specialists to achieve individual and team performance targets. Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and analyze team performance metrics, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans as necessary. End to End collections understanding: Customers behavior understanding by enforcing payment schedules and strategies to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices. Follow up with customers on overdue payments, Negotiation skills for potential settlements and payment plans when necessary. Training and Development: Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the AR skills and financial knowledge of the team. Ensure all team members are up-to-date with the latest industry trends and company offerings. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the AR team. Customer Interaction: Handle escalated customer issues and disputes, ensuring prompt and effective resolution. Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction. Provide clear and timely guidance to team members. Collaboration: Work closely with the VGM AR-Collections supervisor and local GBS Structure to align AR strategies and ensure seamless operations. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on AR performance, customer payment trends, and team achievements to senior management. Compliance: Ensure all team activities comply with company policies and local regulations. Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the team. REPORTS TO Remotely: To the AR-Collections VGM Supervisor & Locally to the Share Service Center Director. JOB REQUIREMENTS Experience: Proven experience in leadership roles, accounts receivable, credit control, or a related financial role. Experience in a shared service center or multinational environment is preferred. Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Language Proficiency: Exceptional Fluency (Speaking and Writing) in Spanish and English is required. Additional languages are advantageous (Urdu, Russian, Arab, Hindi, Portuguese, Chinese-Mandarin, Italian). Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones across the United States and Latin America. Location Colombia resident, located in Bogota. Compensation This position is set between 5,000,000 - 5,300,000 COP , with the final offer depending on experience and skills.
