Lead UX and Product Designer Latin America

Plan A Technologies is looking for aLead UX and Product Designer to lead the strategic evolution of the client’s platform. You’ll guide the design direction for our expanding product suite—across mobile and web—ensuring consistency, clarity, and high‑value user experiences across all touchpoints. This is a hands‑on leadership and individual contributor role that combines vision, execution, and team building. This role will be critical in shaping a unified product design strategy—creating a cohesive, modern experience across a portfolio of products. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, cross‑functional teams, and executive leadership to define and deliver a best‑in‑class platform that meets the complex needs of field and office users alike. Please note: you must have at least 8+ years of experience in UX/product design, including at least 3 years in a leadership or principal/lead design role to be considered for this role. JOB RESPONSIBILITY Own and evolve the design strategy across the client’s growing family of products — defining a future‑forward, best‑in‑class user experience Drive UX vision and product design strategy that balances user needs with business goals and technical feasibility Lead design integration and experience unification across newly acquired products and platforms Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to define long‑term product experience roadmaps Manage, evolve, and scale the client’s design system, ensuring it remains robust, modern, and scalable across teams and products Work hands‑on to develop wireframes, user flows, and prototypes while mentoring designers to deliver world‑class UX Hire, mentor, and lead a growing product design team Drive high‑quality design output across the entire product lifecycle, from discovery through delivery Explore and deliver practical, high‑impact AI‑powered features Bring experience in shipping AI‑driven user experiences—from ideation to launch Champion the use of AI tools to improve both design workflows and end‑user value User‑Centered Research & Feedback Loops Lead user research efforts, including field interviews, usability studies, and testing with our diverse user base—from dispatchers to equipment operators Translate field insights into actionable design improvements and product opportunities Foster a culture of iterative, user‑informed design Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with stakeholders and other teams to ensure aligned vision and seamless user journeys Advocate for design as a strategic driver of business impact Influence prioritization and decision‑making at the leadership level EXPERIENCE BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience 8+ years of experience in UX/product design, including at least 3 years in a leadership or principal/lead design role Proven track record designing complex, user‑centered B2B SaaS products—especially in operations, logistics, construction tech, or field services Experience building or scaling design systems across multiple products and teamsDemonstrated success driving design unification across a suite of products or platforms Strong portfolio showcasing user‑centered design solutions for both mobile and web applications Excellent communicationn Hands‑on expertise with design and prototyping tools like Figma and user research methods Experience working with or bringing AI‑powered product features to market, and a strong understanding of the UX implications of AI design Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Excellent organizational, problem‑solver, and analytical abilities Outstanding communication, and interpersonal skills Initiative and drive to do great things ABOUT THE COMPANY/BENEFITS Plan A Technologies is an American software development and technology advisory firm that brings top‑tier engineering talent to clients around the world.
