Purpose Contributes to the overall success of the CCAU ATM & POS Technology in International Banking Caribbean ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Accountabilities Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Develop knowledge of the Bank's hardware, software/applications, architecture and development tools and techniques. Possess knowledge of state-of-the-art techniques within the industry as well as an awareness of current procedures of all areas affecting the development and operation of systems. Conduct impact analyses to assess business and technical implications of proposed changes Ensure that supervisor or Project Leader is kept informed of all unresolved issues, other areas of concern and any other deviations from plans through timely and well documented reporting Document and maintain internal operational/knowledge manuals. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. Position: Project Management Associate, Release Management / CCAU Technology Reporting Relationships Primary Manager: (include secondary Manager if applicable) • Business Solutions SpecialistDirect Reports: • N/A Education / Experience College Degree/Diploma preferably in the area of Information Systems and Computer Science Working knowledge of JIRA/Confluence/SharePoint 3+ years of working knowledge of SDLC in an IT Organization Previous experience working with a financial Institution with sound working knowledge of the processes, products, Technology, Accounting, and controls of the organization English language fluency. Working Conditions Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. When required, non-standard office working hours for scheduled implementations or while on rotational 24x7 on-call support.
