We are building the enterprise payments infrastructure of Latin America What we are looking for: We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Partner Operations Coordinator to support our rapid expansion across Latin America. While the role will predominantly focus on banks, it also covers onboarding and maintaining operational relationships with market data providers, payment service providers, fintech partners, compliance vendors, and other third-party institutions essential to Cobre’s infrastructure. This is a hands-on operational role responsible for coordinating documentation, managing onboarding workflows, ensuring compliance requirements are met, and maintaining strong relationships across a wide range of partners. What would you be doing: Partner onboarding and relationship management Manage onboarding processes for banks and non-bank partners including: payment service providers, market data vendors, compliance/KYC providers, fintech partners, and technology or infrastructure vendors. Complete and submit onboarding applications across multiple jurisdictions (Colombia, Mexico, Peru, the US, and additional markets as we expand). Compile, organize, and submit documentation packages tailored to partner requirements. Track onboarding progress and follow up proactively to ensure processes move forward. Maintain organized records of onboarding activities, requirements, and timelines. Coordinate with internal teams (CBMM, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Treasury, Product, Engineering) to collect required documentation. Ensure all forms, questionnaires, and submissions meet each partner’s standards. KYC & Compliance Support Complete KYC questionnaires, due diligence forms, security reviews, and vendor assessments for both banking and non-banking partners. Gather, validate, and maintain corporate documentation such as articles of incorporation, beneficial ownership records, financial statements, tax documents, and certifications. Ensure all documents are current and obtain notarizations or apostilles when required. Maintain a centralized repository of company documentation for internal teams. Track expiration dates and proactively manage renewals. Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely documentation. What do you need: Required qualifications: 2–4 years of experience in banking operations, fintech operations, vendor onboarding, financial services operations, or similar documentation-heavy roles. Experience completing complex forms and managing structured onboarding workflows. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume environments. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously. Comfortable working with documentation from banks, fintechs, and third-party service providers. Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal). Proficient in Google Workspace and comfortable learning new tools. Able to work independently with strong communication skills.
