We have domain expertise spanning financial services, banking, retail, technology, healthcare, as well as the VC and PE ecosystem, among others.We are on the lookout for a Delivery Director This is an exciting opportunity to join us in Medellin, Colombia and help us build our community there.In this role you will lead, excel, and grow the Symphony client engagements, ensuring superb quality, excellent delivery, client satisfaction, and business growth. Reporting to the Portfolio Director, you will drive excellence in delivery, business development, consulting, leadership, and governance.What would be your responsibilities if you join us?Partner with Symphony clients to craft and deliver digital solutions that unlock new levels of business value Develop and implement strategic plans for software delivery aligned with business objectives Oversee a programme of software development projects, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality delivery Foster a culture of collaboration, empowerment, excellence, and continuous improvement across teams Lead, mentor, and support delivery managers and their teams to drive performance and growth Manage stakeholder relationships, including executive clients and internal leadership, ensuring transparent communication and alignment Monitor and report on portfolio performance, risks, and financial KPIs, implementing mitigation strategies as needed Ensure adherence to quality standards, contractual obligations, and industry best practices Drive process optimization through agile, lean, and other best practices to improve delivery efficiency Identify and pursue business development opportunities within existing and new accounts Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and service delivery excellence Lead strategic initiatives to improve delivery capabilities and support organisational growth goals There are some requirements that will make you stand out:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly desirable. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable. Minimum of 12 years of experience in software development project management. Proven track record of delivering large and complex software portfolios on time and within budget. Outstanding time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills Experience with Agile methodology and Agile frameworks Demonstrated ability to thrive in a highly dynamic environment, showcasing a high degree of adaptability and flexibility Able to understand the client's digital context and challenges Flexibility for frequent travels Problem solving, consultant mindset, though partner, building intimacy with client and their stakeholders Skilled and experienced in people management Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal You will easily fit into Symphony culture if you:Are proactive and enthusiastic about your own continuous learning and improvement.
