Senior Master Data Management Specialist Purpose of Role The Senior in Master Data Management plays a fundamental role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data across all business processes, including order-to-payment (O2C), purchase-to-payment (P2P), and record-to-report (R2R). This role provides extensive functional and technical expertise to support daily operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with global data governance standards. The Master Data Management Expert acts as a central point of knowledge, supporting internal teams in meeting deadlines, contributing to system improvements, and promoting best practices throughout the organization. Additionally, skills such as schedule management, negotiation, attention to detail, and assertive communication are essential, as this role involves constant communication with markets and process stakeholders, sometimes in English. Responsibilities Ensure Data Quality, Accuracy, And Compliance By Performing Regular Audits And Validations. Define, Update, And Enforce Data Governance Policies, Standards, And Procedures. Provide Technical And Functional Support To Data Analysts, Operational Teams, And Key Users. Identify And Implement Process Improvements To Enhance Data Workflows And System Efficiency. Participate In System Implementation, Migration, And Enhancement Projects Related To Master Data. Deliver Training And Documentation To Stakeholders On Best Practices And Data Standards. Monitor And Report On Key Data Quality Metrics, Proposing Corrective Actions When Needed. Collaborate With Global And Cross-Functional Teams To Align Data Management Strategies. Maintain Accurate Records And Documentation Of Master Data Processes And Policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in Master Data Management (MDM) in SAP modules for customers, vendors, fixed assets, and general ledger. Experience working in shared services environments and multinational or multicultural organizations (experience in the automotive or fast-moving consumer goods sectors is a plus). Solid understanding of data governance principles, data quality metrics, data visualization and storytelling, and MDM best practices. Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle) and data management tools. Knowledge of the DAMA-DMBOK Framework. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, collaboration, and training skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
