Overview We are seeking a Jr. Employment Manager to join our Employment Team. The Technical Recruiter will support efforts on pursuits and funded work by evaluating internal employees and locating external key personnel. The position requires organization, knowledge of government IT contracts, and the ability to build relationships while understanding the needs of TekSynap. Benefits Health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability plans Vacation time and holidays Competitive full‑time compensation package Responsibilities Manages non‑key personnel for bid and proposal opportunities on cleared and uncleared contracts Recruit for IT positions requiring numerous certifications and varied clearance levels Understand the proposal process from RFI through award Work with Senior Employment Manager to manage incumbent capture process at time of transition Utilize resources to find and secure passive candidates through multiple resources (iCIMS, LinkedIn, clearancejobs.com, etc) Coordinate and manage full‑cycle recruiting process on funded and pursuit opportunities Work directly with Senior Employment Manager and team members to understand labor categories, requirements, bill rates and contract expectations Participate in funded and pursuit meetings weekly and provide updates to the proposal team Participate in job fairs, networking events and company outreach to develop a pipeline for unfunded and funded opportunities (travel may be required) Deliver high‑quality service to customers and contract employees by matching contract employees’ skills with customers’ needs Develop and retain business by providing outstanding customer service Perform a variety of administrative tasks that support the overall mission of quality performance and service Respond to and qualify job requisitions efficiently and effectively Analyze resumes and compare candidate skillsets to funded opportunities, proposals and pipelined positions Enter information accurately while maintaining full communication with the team Interview candidates to evaluate their technical qualifications for assignments Troubleshoot to resolve problems or complaints of customers and/or contract employees Communicate clearly and professionally with senior and executive leadership Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, contract employees and staff Qualifications 1 year of customer service experience in support of technical, IT or GovCon roles (recruiting experience a plus) Ability to work in a multi‑faceted, fast‑paced environment while staying organized (typical proposal requisitions of 50+ at a time) Self‑starter who can prioritize workload with little supervision Experience with different recruiting and sourcing databases; experience with iCIMS a plus Private setting for home office with phone and internet Equal Employment Opportunity In order to provide equal employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals, employment decisions will be based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
