About the position

We are seeking an experienced Technical Team Lead to lead a team of full-stack developers and engineers. As a Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of our product offerings, which are designed to help medical practices streamline and automate appointment booking, financial clearance, and general administrative inquiries. This position is a “player coach” role, offering the opportunity to lead by example, mentor emerging talent, and contribute significantly to a platform that has a meaningful impact on the health and happiness of patients and providers.

Responsibilities

Organize contributions across technical team members to help achieve business outcomes by implementing complex product functionality that spans multiple software systems and modules

Promote standard approaches to design, development, testing, and documentation to improve reliability

Lead efforts to streamline and refactor software modules to enable better security, performance, and maintainability

Organize development activities and provide level-appropriate support and guidance to junior and senior team members

Build strong working relationships with Product, Operations, and Commercial functions as well as external partners to help organize the

Define and own developer experience metrics, including development velocity, productivity, and change failure rate

Required skills and qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

Proven track record of leading and delivering complex software projects.

Strong technical expertise in modern software development practices and technologies (e.g., Agile methodologies, cloud computing, mobile application development).

Experience in the healthcare technology sector is highly desirable, including familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, FDA).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in both written and verbal forms
