Senior or Principal Laboratory Technician in peptide chemistry

Your new position As a Senior/Principal Laboratory Technician in our team, you will play a key role in the design and synthesis of new peptides and conjugates that advance our discovery projects. The role is hands-on in the laboratory and highly collaborative, working closely with scientists and technicians to deliver high-quality materials and data. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvements in our lab infrastructure and to help drive automation and best practices across workflows. Main Responsibilities Perform automated solid-phase peptide synthesis Purify peptides by reverse-phase HPLC Characterize and analyze peptides by HPLC-MS Process and analyze data and document experiments in electronic lab notebooks Maintain instruments and contribute to improvements in the lab infrastructure Your profile As a person you are proactive and collaborative, enjoys laboratory work in a dynamic setting and takes pride in high-quality, timely execution and documentation. You are comfortable working in shared workflows, supportive and open in interactions, and motivated by teamwork. You are curious by nature and like to solve problems in the laboratory. Certified laboratory technician diploma or a similar education Extensive experience with peptide synthesis, purification, and characterization, and experience in general organic chemistry is a plus Solid knowledge using automated peptide synthesizers Strong technical understanding of HPLC systems and general laboratory instrumentations, and you have an interest in automating workflows Proficiency with data handling and documentation in electronic lab notebooks English proficiency and Danish are an advantage Your new team You will join the Medicinal & Computational Chemistry department, a multidisciplinary team of around 20 employees (scientists and technicians). The area is responsible for the design and synthesis of new peptides and conjugates into our projects, collaborating closely across discovery functions to deliver high-impact molecules.
