THE ROLE At Lemon Adds, email isn’t a support channel—it’s a revenue engine. We’re hiring an Elite Email Marketing Strategist to own, scale, and optimize lifecycle email programs for high-growth DTC brands. This role sits at the core of our Owned Media team and works directly with leadership, paid media, CRO, and creative to turn email into one of our strongest profit drivers. You’ll build systems, not just campaigns. You’ll think in segments, flows, data, and outcomes. And you’ll help push Lemon Adds—and our clients—to the next level. This is a key role for someone who thrives in ownership, loves performance marketing, and is excited to be part of a sharp, fast‑moving team obsessed with results. WHAT YOU'LL OWN Architect, execute, and scale high‑performing email lifecycle programs (campaigns + automation) across Klaviyo and other ESPs Build and optimize core flows: welcome, abandonment, post‑purchase, win‑back, cross‑sell, loyalty, and retention Own segmentation, list health, deliverability, and audience strategy Develop data‑backed send strategies (timing, frequency, targeting, personas) Lead structured A/B testing frameworks across subject lines, copy, layout, offers, and cadence Translate performance data into actionable insights and optimization roadmaps Collaborate with creative, paid media, CRO, and account teams to align messaging and offers Maintain a high‑impact campaign calendar that balances engagement, revenue, and brand integrity Communicate clearly with internal teams and clients on strategy, results, and next steps Ensure compliance with CAN‑SPAM, CCPA, CASL, and best deliverability practices WHAT MAKES YOU ELITE 4+ years in performance‑driven email marketing (eCommerce / DTC required) Deep hands‑on expertise with Klaviyo (non‑negotiable) Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, retention, and LTV growth Data‑first mindset: you analyze before you act—and test everything Proven experience improving revenue per recipient, CTR, conversion rate, and list health Ability to write or guide clear, persuasive, conversion‑focused copy Strong eye for design and UX—comfortable creating or refining templates Basic HTML/CSS knowledge preferred Exceptional communication and ownership mentality Comfortable juggling multiple brands, priorities, and fast timelines KEYS TO SUCCESS AT LEMON ADDS DATA‑OBSESSED – decisions are made from numbers, not opinions NIMBLE – you adapt fast, test often, and thrive in ambiguity RESILIENT – you take feedback, own outcomes, and keep pushing forward SOLUTION‑ORIENTED – you identify problems and proactively fix them ENGAGED – you care deeply about your work, your clients, and your impact WHY LEMON ADDS Work with high‑growth DTC brands and meaningful ad budgets Full ownership and real influence over strategy and outcomes Fully remote, performance‑driven culture Competitive compensation with growth potential A team that values excellence, speed, and accountability If email is your weapon of choice and you think in systems, strategy, and revenue, we want to hear from you.
