Ingeniero de Sistemas IT / Nivel 2/3 - Con Ingles Fluido C1 en Adelante - MUST SPEAK AND WRITE FLUENTLY IN ENGLISH (C1 or greater) - IT Support Engineer - Help Desk Qualifications 5+ years of experience supporting desktops, servers, networks, switches, firewalls and other hardware equipment. We are looking to fill an opening for an IT Support Engineer to help serve our growing client base. The role involves providing remote services to our clients in the United States, primarily delivering Tier 1-3 support (mostly Tier 2). Responsibilities include maintaining and managing the IT infrastructure and operational needs of the client, addressing hardware and software issues, desktops, peripherals, and end‑user problems. This position supports Managed IT services clients from our Barranquilla office. Job Details You will be called upon to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues (Tier 1 thru 3). Effectively communicate with clients via phone and email, articulating technical projects and support resolutions to non‑technical people. Exhibit excellent problem‑solving capability, utilizing all available resources to quickly resolve issues and provide best‑practice IT solutions. Take ownership of complex problems and follow through with minimal supervision. Document work continuously throughout the day and provide detailed ticket and timesheet updates. Be familiar with best‑practice IT procedures for networks ranging from 5 to 200 users, conveying essential information to clients. Dependable and reliable, available between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM Monday‑Friday US EST time. Participate in an on‑call rotation.
