Job Title: Regional Planner - Supply Chain

About the Role

As a Regional Planner - Supply Chain, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining valid replenishment plans for assigned Third Party or Internal manufacturing sites and second-tier suppliers. You will build and manage a supply chain network that is resilient and acts as a shock-absorber for fluctuations coming from both demand and supply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain replenishment plans for assigned suppliers, in line with business strategies, financial plans, capacity constraints, and target inventory profiles.
  • Manage demand changes from monthly published commercial forecasts and proactively report demand analysis results.
  • Coordinate New Product Introductions and Label changes for assigned suppliers, ensuring close collaboration and communication with manufacturing sites.
  • Provide monthly replenishment forecasts to assigned suppliers, in line with contracts and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
  • Manage shortages of supplies and provide business impact and mitigation scenarios.
  • Ensure close collaboration and communication with manufacturing sites to achieve alignment on supply chain topics such as inventory, capacity, constraints, and New Product Introductions (NPIs).
  • Issue on-time Purchase Orders (POs) to assigned suppliers and maintain the PO portfolio.
  • Provide Lead Time Reduction (LTR) and capacity analyzes for assigned products.
  • Manage all open Purchase Orders to inform internal customers timely about any deviation from the original request.
Requirements
  • Supply Chain Management or Production Operations Management or Logistics Management or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • APICS Certification desirable.
  • 5 years' experience in supply chain environment and 2 years' experience in demand/supply planning, preferably in Pharma business.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (English, written and oral) and an ability to work cross-functionally in an international environment.
  • A good understanding of S&OP/MRP (Material Requirement Planning)/MPS (Master Production Schedule) planning systems and business applications is preferred.
