The Role
As part of the Global Non-IT Procurement team, the Category Manager Professional Services is responsible for leading the creation, management, and execution of the sourcing strategy for Consulting, HR services, Learning & Development, and Recruitment subcategories. The goal is to continuously optimize the categories to the satisfaction of all stakeholders involved.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as central strategic interface to internal customers and key supplier manager for related procurement activities.
- Collaborate with the global category team to create and implement a comprehensive regional sourcing strategy.
- Execute strategic procurement processes, including market analysis, demand management, and contract negotiation.
- Prepare contracts in collaboration with the legal department and other specialist departments.
- Conduct spend analysis to define quantitative and qualitative optimization goals.
- Work with the Regional Non-IT Procurement team to develop sourcing and supplier strategies.
- Deliver high-quality procurement results and reporting.
Requirements
- BA (required).
- Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (preferred).
- 5+ years relevant procurement experience or proven track record in related roles.
- Experience in leading strategic sourcing projects in an international environment.
- Good knowledge across BPO & Professional Services subcategories.
- Strong project management skills with proven experience in delivering category and sourcing strategies.
- Proficient contract terminology and expertise in developing alternative clauses.
- Ability to balance risk and effort on regulatory and compliance requirements.
