The Role

This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the migration of Tebra's core application from Laravel 6.x to Laravel 11.x, ensuring smooth transitions between versions by addressing deprecated features and implementing necessary adaptations.

You will collaborate closely with the core development team to improve and maintain the application's functionality, performance, and scalability.

You will also drive the implementation of new features as part of the ongoing product roadmap, ensuring high performance and availability across the platform.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 4+ years of experience with PHP, with a deep understanding of the Laravel framework;
  • Strong knowledge of API development (RESTful);
  • Experience with Python or Java, with a willingness to explore these technologies in future projects;
  • Comfortable with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub) and best practices for managing code;
  • Experience working with high-traffic, enterprise-level web applications;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions;
  • Agile methodology experience, including participation in Scrum teams;
  • Upper-intermediate English level.

Please note that salary estimates vary based on location, but a reasonable estimate for this role would be around $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
