Claims Handler

We are seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our team at DAC Beachcroft LLP. As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of volume pre-litigated work, reviewing claims, and resolving disputes through negotiation and litigation.

• Manage a caseload of claims, assessing liability and determining the level of compensation
• Resolve claims through negotiation and litigation, ensuring compliance with client service standards
• Maintain contact with clients and their customers, proactively managing their expectations
• Meet individual performance measures, including financial and quality performance metrics
• Ensure the DAC Beachcroft brand and standards are maintained

• IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word
• Prioritisation and organisation skills, with the ability to structure time effectively and prioritise work
• Interpersonal skills, with excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, intermediaries, and colleagues
• Analytical skills, with the ability to critically evaluate factual evidence and apply legal principles
