Senior Security Operations Specialist

- Act as a senior technical point of contact and escalation leader for the Security Operations Center (SOC), collaborating with various teams within Radware Cloud to deliver exceptional service.
- Oversee, mentor, and guide security analysts in their efforts to protect global clients from cyber threats and attacks.
- Conduct risk assessments for security incidents and evaluate their potential impact.
- Prepare official security documentation for clients following security breaches and incidents.
- Support incident management and escalation processes, including participation in an on-call rotation and availability outside standard business hours as needed.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to security incident responses.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in network or application security, with a focus on Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Web Application Firewalls.
- Proficient in Layer 2/Layer 3 Switching/Routing, TCP/IP, IPv4, Layer 4/Layer 7 switching, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, SSL, and IPsec.
- Experience with Wireshark and the analysis of packet captures.
- A minimum of 1 year in a technical lead role within a SOC or technical support team in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English, capable of articulating goals, processes, and policies effectively to leadership and executive teams.
- Exceptional customer service abilities, with a knack for evaluating, troubleshooting, and following up on client issues, as well as documenting for further escalation.
- A bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with anti-DDoS technologies.
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity.
- Background in data networking.
- Knowledge of offensive security techniques.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Bash, JavaScript, and understanding of UML, C/C++, and SQL.
