Job Title: Platform Security Specialist

The Platform Security Specialist is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud and on-premises infrastructure. This includes implementing and maintaining security controls across various cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as container environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Infrastructure Security:
    Implement and manage security controls for cloud environments, including IAM, networking, data protection, and threat detection. Configure and maintain security tools and technologies. Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation.
  2. Secret Management:
    Manage and protect sensitive information using HashiCorp Vault, ensuring proper configuration and access controls. Collaborate with application teams to integrate Vault into their applications.
  3. Automation:
    Automate security tasks and processes to shift-left and prevent misconfiguration. Develop scripts and tools for security assessments and remediation.
Requirements:
  1. Total Work Experience: 7-9 years preferred, 4-6 years minimum.
  2. Work Experience in This Field: 5-7 years of Security Engineering preferred.
  3. Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
  4. Education: Bachelor's degree minimum.
  5. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of security tools and technologies. Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, PowerBi). Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  6. Cloud and Container Skills: AWS: Intermediate, Azure: Intermediate, GCP: Entry Level, Containers: Entry Level, AWS IAM: Advanced.
  7. Software / Tool Skills: CSPM (Wiz.io): Intermediate, Terraform: Intermediate, HashiCorp Vault: Entry Level.
  8. Experience with Security Solutions: Experience with CSPM solutions (e.g., Wiz.io). Proficiency in HashiCorp Vault.
