About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technology Manager to join our team in Colombia. This key leadership position will oversee the provision of critical infrastructure services, lead local and regional projects, and drive innovation across our Andean Region operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain provisioning of local, virtual, and specialized infrastructure services for CP
  • Lead local/regional projects and manage complex initiatives
  • Monitor and improve performance and utilization of Infrastructure Services
  • Provide second-level technology troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, servers, LAN connectivity, network printers, and local software)
  • Manage acquisition, control, replacement, and maintenance of IT equipment, including asset tracking, leasing, and budgeting aspects for the region
  • Develop partnerships with business management, users, and suppliers in the Andean Region
  • Maintain effective communication with management, users, W&CS team, and GIT organization
  • Monitor, coordinate, and manage system/infrastructure performance/reliability issues with relevant teams
  • Act as liaison with Global Infrastructure Service to escalate and resolve critical issues
  • Investigate unusual patterns or anomalies affecting infrastructure and general business objectives; determine and/or recommend actions
  • Ensure alignment with GIT standards, policies, and procedures
  • Lead internal and external IT audit process in the region
  • Quarterly complete tasks related to list of infrastructure controls for the region
  • Perform infrastructure management activities ensuring compliance with maintenance policies and security requirements
  • Coordinate and plan GIT Grid projects locally
  • Assist global process with preparation and administration of regional infrastructure budget
  • Participate and encourage user participation in change management process; plan effective preparation of users for new launches of IT products/services
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry trends, capabilities of latest technology, and potential impact on supporting business
  • Keep all relevant parties (CP and GIT) informed of plans, progress, problems, and risks related to IT infrastructure
  • Locally monitor, support, and encourage greater use of IT technologies through technology launches and training sessions
  • Maintain proactive communication with users at all levels to ensure their perspectives are incorporated into GIT products/services
  • Collaborate with other teams within GIT to evaluate standards, propose policies, and procedures to improve support and end-user experience
  • Develop performance measurement framework and facilitate feedback system to Infrastructure staff on customer service, communication, and technical skills to improve quality of support provided

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering in Information Systems, or related field
  • At least 8 years of experience working in corporate IT support environment and with personnel in charge; management of budgets and local/global suppliers
  • Desirable experience in private sector and multinational consumer goods organization
  • Advanced English language proficiency
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Apple iOS, Active Directory, OSD Deployment, VMware Virtualization, Cisco VOIP, TCP/IP Network Protocol, device connectivity issues, Cisco network switch configuration, and Virtual Lans
  • Desirable knowledge of WMware WorkspaceOne, Freshservice or other ticket tools, Google Workspace, VMware, Nutanix environments, and SAP

Salary Range: $55,000 - $85,000 per year
